My prayer right now for myself and you is that we remember more and more that we only have ONE LIFE
We only have one shot at this human experience
With that there is deep grief as well as deep gratitude
It’s not always strong for me but what I’ve been tapping into is the miracle of this very moment
I’m alive on this spinning sentient rock spinning in the middle of nowhere
I have no idea what the very next moment will bring and either does anyone else
What a miracle that I have breath and that breath comes from an unconditional loving Source
We remember this miracle when we heal
The biggest gift we can give ourselves is dive deeper into our healing and remember the 6-15 year old living within all of us that is asking us to listen to them
When we go back into our childhood, heal the emotional wounds, and re-parent ourselves we expand our ability to dream
We expand our ability to imagine a new life for ourselves and our villages
I am on my way back home from Baltimore where I got the privilege to speak to about 20 Black and African 12-17 year olds and my message was to DREAM with discipline
To imagine a reality where you get to play and get PAID to play
In the play, for those that are heart-based, we naturally help others heal around us
We remind them that there is more than the colonial consciousness we’ve been conditioned with
We remind them that there is something to love within our African identity
We remind them to FEEL
Our sensitivity is our superpower. It is the finest sword we’ve been gifted and the more we learn to wield that sword the more we can help humanity because if there’s a time to stop playing small - it’s now.
Will you dream again like you did back in the day?
Will you plant seeds for a new world?
Will you keep tending to those seeds even when there is nothing in your reality that shows any sign of harvest?
Spirit and The Ancestors are asking this of us.
Especially empaths and those who are more sensitive and aware then 99.9% of the human population
