the return of the CAMPFIRE

Back in the times of our Ancestors, the CAMPFIRE was the sacred place where we gathered as a village to tell stories, to dance, to pray, and to pass down the wisdom to the children.
My dream is in the lifetime we can recreate that in-person and we can begin planting the seeds with restoring the campfire online.
I’m inviting EVERYONE of the African Diaspora to a free ZOOM gathering this Sunday June 25th and Sunday July 2nd both at 7-830pm EST. Bring the elders and children!
We’ll start with a prayer to THE ANCESTORS and some breaths to bring us back into our hearts.
I’ll share what I’ve been exploring around my healing journey and offer space for others to share their hearts.
Since we mostly speak from the mind, I will be guiding you back into the body so all you have to do is show up!
Maybe your in a deep place of grief and just need to witness people making a stand for the African Diaspora and the next 7 generations - come for hope as well!

These events are free and as part of reciprocity, I will be accepting donations to my new fund for self care and music. This money goes directly into helping my taking care of the chronic physical pain I experience. The better my body feels, the more space I have for play and creating music. The two are deeply connected for me!

We’re still raising money for Baltimore and I am giving Kyree (a fellow CHIEF-IN-TRAINING) space to raise money locally with my support of course! I’m also looking to get connected to Baltimore organizers who are trying to elevate Black and African consciousness if you have suggestions and can make intros.
