a meditation for the MEN in a substance abuse recovery program
Men of Refined Life Solutions.
This is a 35-minute salute to you men for doing the work of working through substance abuse (and to anyone else who is as well).
A follow-up to my last post about announcing the fundraiser to get me to you.
As someone who was addicted to cocaine in my 20’s I have this deep empathy and sense of “I SEE YOU”, when I hear men are in a substance abuse recovery program so that they can be the healthier fathers to their families.
THE RETURN OF THE CHIEF.
For me, that’s just a big SALUTE.🫡
There’s no other deeper work than to restore the village in our own homes.
To call ourselves into our hearts AS MEN WITH OPEN HEARTS to get out of bed and keep trying to do this thing called life.
I wanted to offer a meditation that is interactive and fluid. I’m breathing and standing and showing you how to embody THE CHIEF.
I do hope the village comes through with the money and we get me there and I still wanted to offer some medicine. Maybe this is prep heart-work!
As you enter back into your families it’s important to do this inner child work, embody THE PROTECTOR within you, and also hold grace for your humanity.
My hope is that I get to do this work in person with ya’ll and I want to thank Viviana Arturo for being the first person to donate outside of me lol. The $40 goes along way to actualize this dream. It’s the Ancestors whisper to KEEP GOING.
