I’m welcoming in my next prayer for LIBERATEVILLAGE.COM, for you to remember you are the teacher and to also SEE.
SEE that we are at a tipping point here in the US (and globally) as The African Diaspora
Will we remember our divinity or will we watch our Black children internalize self-hatred just as we have?
I’ve stopped saying the next 7 generations because I believe we can change things for us in THIS LIFETIME.
This is my new mantra - THIS LIFETIME.
The way Nina Simone moved through the world resembled The Teacher
This is how it is to move through the world unapologetic about who I am
When you allow this feeling to awaken in your heart and body (not the mind), the transmissions come through without preparation.
The only preparation I do before writing, creating music, or the campfire today is sit with plant medicine in ceremony and I ask The Ancestors to use me.
The Ancestors see you as as a God or Goddess
A reincarnation of some Queen, King, Warrior, or Chief that once existed.
It’s in your bloodline
Will you trust how they see you or will you let colonialism (and the religions that come with it) define you?
The more we spend time slowing down to be with our bodies and shake or dance out the trauma the more these life cheat codes blossom within our cells, muscle tissues, and body.
Once we FEEL more of The Teacher within ourselves, the blessings come
If you’re like me, nothing gives you more fire for life then being of service
This is why you’ve been stuck
You are calling in more service yet you are blocking your own dreams because of fear
Fear of how big you really are and what may happen to your life when you own how powerful you are
When you step more into The Teacher people will call you crazy, shame you, or call you a cult leader
This is what we’ve signed up for
This is what I’ve signed up for
