“We’re knocking”.
This is the whisper I heard in prayer before writing this.
The prayer I always do that at least one person is impacted by this post.
They remember they belong here.
They remember they have a purpose even with the suicide ideation.
CELEBRATION!
Releasing music is always ceremony for me as I celebrate myself and celebrate the African Diaspora’s unique connection to Our Ancestors.
We build this connection by studying Ancient African Spirituality.
What we’ve seen consistently in culture is what really divides us is religion.
That’s because when we bring the conversation of religion to UNITY we are in the head.
We’ve lost connection to OUR HEART.
This is what the ancient spirituality and relationship with THE MOST HIGH was all about.
We study nature, we study our bodies to make sense of this experience.
Our bodies are one with Nature.
Thus WE ARE THE ONES WE’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
You don’t need some book, you don’t need a white savior, you don’t even need me.
All you need to do is to listen more to your body.
We remember this by dancing.
Dancing is an act of resistance to oppression because you are giving yourself permission to just be YOU.
It doesn’t matter if anyone is watching.
You have to train yourself with yourself to be you.
No one is going to love and accept you like you AND The Divine Mother (AUSET)
So let’s keep dancing for the next 7 generations.
May the youth have spaces to dance with each other and feel free.
It starts with US.
IT starts with you bringing me to your communities to perform and bring these ancestral codes.
It’s time to make our mark (legacy) and get free IN THIS LIFETIME.

This is no longer about the likes and the monthly listeners.
This is about restoring the village and passing this wisdom down in a way the youth can digest.
Even if it’s drill, we got to meet them where they are at.
You can hear something I’m working on now that is rap and def has a very tough energy to it. I’m always playing in the tough confidence I see in Meek Mill when he shares his heart in his music.
Working title is COONS, this is calling in Black and African men who date outside the race. For me it’s always about integrity with grace. I can call you in and challenge you also with grace because I once wanted to spend my entire life with a white women too. Your actions speak for you - this is where we are at at this point. CAN’T YOU SEE? WAKE UP. I’ve started writing and the beat around 70% done.
THE VISION
If you’ve been reading this far, this is the vision for the village. I’m always asking myself too “what is this?” Words can’t really describe so I recorded a 10 minute video.
